Hello, my name is Jane Allington and Vintage Rose Barn is my company dedicated to creating and selling candles and craft wares.
I have been making candles, paper and soaps for some 10 years as a hobby but in 2009 decided to take the plunge into running this as a business.
To bring a point of difference to our marketing, my aim is to use local crafts, suppliers, and skills, where possible but we like to add our own twist and bring these crafts up to date using eco and animal friendly products and ingredients.
Specifically we only use recycled paper bags and printer labels , animal friendly and bidegradable Ecosoya wax, recycled household paper, salvaged fabric remnants and recycled vintage crockery obtained from charity shops. In this way we hope to help keep our environment healthy and help various charities when we can.
We hope you enjoy our products and would love to hear from any of you of a similar mind, please feel free to browse and purchase online, but if you would like to see (and smell!) our items before purchasing, we can be found in Nineveh House, Tarrant Street Arundel, and also at various craft fairs and markets local to West Sussex - dates of which can be seen on our 'in person' pages.
